Greetings! I am so excited about today’s post as I get to chat about an online fabric shop that has some lovely brilliant prints. They reached out to me about doing a collaboration which I giddily accepted as I love working with brands that I already use. Modes4U is an online fabric shop that has a large selection of fabrics and craft supplies that selecting what to make for this post was so much fun.

The shipment was super quick too. They post internationally and the threshold for free postage is 60 Euro. So maybe you are looking for Christmas fabric or Halloween fabrics then do check it out. I like how the website shows you similar print fabrics which makes it so much easier to refine your shopping basket. They also have short video clips of the fabrics to give a good idea of what the drape and texture is like.

3 DIY Sewing Projects

So what did I make with my Modes4U fabrics – well in the time since schools have fully reopened things have been very busy with new high school starters and generally just getting back into the swing of things. Time in the sewing has been short but very sweet as I have managed to sew up these 3 lovely sewing projects.

Kitschy Coo Girls Skater Dress in the Cotton and Steel jersey with the cute little half moons

The Skater Dress is a perennial favourite pattern that I have been sewing for my daughters almost every year since they turned 3! The cotton jersey fabric was a delight to sew with and it washes brilliantly. Modes4U stock a wide range of knit fabrics that cater to all tastes.

Grasser #217 in Liberty Tana Lawn

What I love about this Grasser #217 sewing pattern is that you can sew it using just one meter of fabric ! SO when it came to this flower fabric I knew it was going to be a one meter dress! This is my 4 such dress and I love wearing it because it is so perfect for warmer weather which fits with the lovely crispness of Tana Lawn. On Modes4U, I appreciate how they separate their extensive Liberty Fabrics selection into separate categories like ‘animal fabrics Liberty Fabrics‘ , ‘Christmas fabric Liberty Fabrics’ – it makes browsing a much lovelier experience.

Self Drafted Skirt using my own sloper to play on the beautiful crisp lines of this Timeless treasure design.

This was my first time using a Timeless Treasures fabric and wow! I love! It is a high-quality 100% cotton fabric that was a joy to press during the sewing process. The skirt turned out beautifully and I currently love wearing it with boots and a slip for a bright fall look.

Christmas Fabrics Sewing Plans –

I’m already making my Christmas sewing plans as I have learned in the past that October is the best time to get that started rather than December itself! Some Christmas Fabrics I have my eye on are here –

Thanks so much for stopping by! I hope you enjoyed reading my Modes4U review post. I’ll be back soon with more DIY sewing projects.
